Summary

Biography

2010: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles to complete an outstanding career with the program. Appeared in 27 matches and a total of 104 sets. Was second on the team with 282 kills and second in points with 338.5. Was also second in service aces with 31. Had 44 blocks and 288 digs. Earned All-West Region honorable mention from the American Volleyball Coaches Association and received first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Had a career-high 21 kills and 13 digs in a four-set win at Sonoma State on Nov. 11. Also had 16 kills in a four-set win over Sonoma State on Oct. 9. Reached double figures in kills 17 times. Had a career-high 20 digs to go along with 10 kills in a five-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 6. Reached double figures in digs 15 times. Had a total of 12 double-doubles, including four straight and seven of the last eight matches of the season. Named Cal State L.A.'s Exceptional Student-Athlete of the Year (female) for 2010-11. For her career, appeared in 55 matches and played a total of 210 sets. Had 559 kills, 654.5 points, 563 digs, 77 blocks and 52 aces.

2009: Was a major contributor for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Was named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year and earned second-team All-CCAA honors. Was second on the team with 283 kills and third in digs with 286. Played well for the Golden Eagles in the NCAA playoffs and was named to the NCAA Division II West Regional All-Tournament team. Had a season-high 20 kills and a .645 hitting percentage against Chico State on Nov. 14. Also had 17 kills at Chico State on Oct. 9 and 16 kills in matches at Sonoma State on Sept. 12 and against Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 25. Reached double figures in kills 13 times and had 10 matches with double-doubles in kills and digs. Recorded a season-high 17 digs to go along with 12 kills against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 7.
 
At San Jacinto (TX) College: Was fifth in the nation in kills and earned first-team All-America honors. Was the Region XIV conference Player of the Year. Team won the conference championship and finished fifth in the country. Averaged 4.36 kills and 4.13 digs per set.
At St. Petersburg College (Fla.): Was fifth in the nation in kills with 5.1 per set. Posted double-digit kills in all but one match. Was also second in the team in digs with a 3.6 per set average. Earned All-Region honors.
At Sportonvi Gymnasium Ludvika Danka: Team finished second in an international tournament in Poland and she was named to the All-Star team. Team won the junior beach volleyball championship. Three-time member of the Czech National Junior Team.
Personal: Daughter of Jiri and Danuse Cizova. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys beach volleyball, horseback riding, inline skating and tennis. Lists three Czech championships as her most exciting experiences in sports.
