Summary

Biography

2010: Made huge contributions for the Golden Eagles in her final season with the program. Switched to the setter position and had an outstanding season. Appeared in all 27 matches and in a total of 101 sets. Led the team with 928 set assists and 38 aces. Also had 62 kills, 47 blocks and 178 digs. Had a career-high 58 set assists, five kills and five blocks in a five-set match with San Francisco State on Oct. 29. Also had 53 set assists and eight digs in a five-set match against Dixie State on Sept. 4 and had 52 set assists in a five-set match at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 21. Reached double figures in set assists in 26 matches and had 20 or more 22 times, 30 or more 16 times, 40 or more eight times and 50 or more three times. Reached double figures in digs seven times, including a career-high 17 in a four-set match at UC San Diego on Oct. 1 and in a four-set win at Sonoma State on Nov. 11. Had a career-high five kills in four matches. For her career, appeared in 48 matches and a total of  150 sets. Had 940 set assists, 44 aces, 74 kills, 52 blocks, 242 digs and 246.5 points.

2009: Saw playing time in 21 matches in her first season at Cal State L.A. Contributed 64 digs, six service aces and 12 kills in 49 sets. Had a season-high 14 digs and a season-high five set assists against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 14. Had a season-high three kills in seven swings against Northern Michigan on Sept. 5. Had six digs, one set assist and one kill in her Cal State L.A. debut against Mesa State College on Sept. 4. Collected three digs in the Golden Eagles’ NCAA playoff win over Sonoma State on Nov. 19. Earned the program’s Top Scholar Award. Also earned California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.
 
At El Camino College: Was on state championship teams in 2007 and 2008. Made the Championship All-Tournament Team in 2008. Team also won South Coast Conference championships both seasons and won the El Camino Classic in 2007 and 2008 and the San Diego Tournament in 2007. Earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2008 and second-team honors in 2007. Team went undefeated in conference both seasons and was a combined 63-4 overall.
At North Torrance High School: Was the school’s MVP in 2005. Was the Daily Breeze Player of the Week after serving for 47 points in a row and recording 24 aces in a match. Team won Pioneer League titles in 2003-06 and reached the CIF quarterfinals in 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Ashok and Taliko Tuladhar. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her family, messing around with her puppy (Lulu), reading, playing the piano, riding bikes by the beach with her sister, swimming, running, traveling to different countries, socializing with her friends and meeting new and interesting people. Lists taking the last swing for the final kill of the match that led El Camino to its second straight state championship in 2008 as her most exciting experience in sports. Was born in Nepal and is also half Georgian. Received her black belt in Karate in 2005 and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.
