Cal State LA Athletics

2009-10: Made some significant contributions in her final season with the program. Appeared in nine games with six starts. Played a total of 111 minutes. Averaged 1.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Had a season-high six points and four rebounds at San Francisco State (2-12-10). Had a season-high 10 rebounds to go along with five points against Cal State Stanislaus (2-25-10).

2008-09: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles last season and was a redshirt.

At Gardena High School: Competed in basketball and track and field in high school. Was the varsity team captain. Was on the school’s Honor Roll. Earned the Cal National Bank Scholarship, COBA Scholarship, Friedman Scholarship and won the Peer Counselor Award.

Personal: Daughter of Marcel and Theresa Njoku. Majoring in psychology and criminal justice. Enjoys writing, reading, traveling and volunteering. Lists playing against a rival school and playing travel basketball as her most exciting experiences in sports.
