At Temecula Valley High School: Competed in track and field and basketball. Earned 2025 Inland Empire All-City honors in track and field. Had best times of 54.07 in the 400 and 2:02.52 in the 800.

Personal: Son of Annette Mccarthy. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys track and music. Lists running the 4x400 at the Beaumont Classic as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he competed in the CIF finals in track.
