Summary

Biography

2008-09: Contributed in six early-season games in his final year with the program. Started three times and played a total of 63 minutes. Averaged 4.5 points and 0.3 rebounds per game. Scored a season-high seven points with two assists and two steals in a 55-53 win over Dixie State College (11-29-08). Had six points on a pair of 3-pointers against Cal State San Bernardino (12-5-08) and hit two 3-pointers for six points against Cal Poly Pomona (12-6-08). Hit seven 3-pointers in his six games. For his career, appeared in 32 games and started 11 times. Played a total of 669 minutes. Averaged 9.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Had a total of 66 successful 3-pointers in his career.

2007-08: Was a top 3-point shooting threat for the Golden Eagles as a junior. Led the team and was fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in 3-pointers made. Sank 59 from behind the arc. Finished third on the team in scoring with 10.6 points per game. Appeared in 26 games and started 11 times. Poured in a season-high 24 points and hit six of eight from behind the 3-point arc in a win over Biola (12-15-07). Also had 22 points in a season-opening win over Saint Martin’s (11-23-07) and 21 points against Cal State San Bernardino (2-9-08). Reached double figures in scoring in 15 of the 26 games he played in and had 18 or more points in five contests.

At Long Beach City College: Was rated as one of the top 25 junior college players in California by JC Hoops.com. Earned first-team honorable mention All-South Coast Conference honors for two consecutive years. Averaged 16.0 points, three rebounds and three assists per game.

Washington Prep HS: Was a McDonald’s All-America nominee and earned All-League honors in 2003. Was rated as one of the top shooting guards.

Personal: Son of Andre Hazel and Robbie Randolph. Majoring in fire protection administration and technology. Enjoys movies, reading, eating out and getting tattoos. Lists scoring 39 points against Mt. San Antonio College in the championship game of the Irvine Tournament as his most exciting experience in sports.
