Cal State LA Athletics

2008-09: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in two games and played a total of three minutes. Averaged 2.0 points per game. Was 2-of-3 from the floor. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and scored two points in a 96-55 win over Academy of Art (12-26-08). Made his only field-goal attempt and scored two points in a 76-60 victory over Cal State Stanislaus (2-21-09).

At Norco High School: Received an Academic Award for having a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Earned the Coach’s Award and also earned second-team All-League honors. Was the team’s Offensive Player of the Year and the co-Defensive Player of the Year. Competed in basketball, football and track and field.

Personal: Son of Earnest Cheatham and Valerie Williams. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys playing basketball and going to movies. Lists making it to the CIF Championship and playing in the Honda Center as his most exciting experience in sports.
