Biography

2023-24: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 32 games with 25 starts. Played a total of 874 minutes. Averaged 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Was seventh on the team in scoring and second on the team in assists. Also had 41 steals, which was third on the team. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Scored a career-high 15 points in a 95-83 win over Stanislaus State. Had 12 points, a career-high six rebounds, a career-high five steals and four assists in a 73-62 win at Cal State San Bernardino (3-9-24) in the CCAA Tournament championship game. Matched a career-high with seven assists at Cal Poly Pomona (1-27-24). Had 13 points in a 76-65 win at Cal State San Marcos (11-30-23). Reached double figures in scoring five times. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2023-24 CCAA All-Academic honors. Also received 2023 CCAA Academic Winter Honor Roll recognition. Also earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. For his career, appeared in 60 games with 37 starts. Played a total of 1,459 minutes. Averaged 5.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

2022-23: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Was one of only four players to appear in all 28 games for the Golden Eagles. Started 12 times. Played a total of 585 minutes. Averaged 4.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Was third on the team in assists and tied for third in steals with 22. Made his Cal State LA debut and got his first start against Biola (11-11-22). Had four points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 34 minutes. Scored a season-high 10 points in three games. Had 10 points, a season-high five rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes against Northwest Nazarene (11-17-22). Had 10 points, three rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes in an 83-73 win over Fresno Pacific (11-22-22). Had 10 points, three rebounds and four assists in a season-high 37 minutes of a 80-77 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-19-23). Had six points and a season-high seven assists at Sonoma State (1-14-23). An outstanding student, earned a 2022-23 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors. Also received 2022-23 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Riverside City College: Averaged 11.1 points and 3.8 assists per game in two years with the program. Team won the conference title both seasons. Earned first-team All-Conference honors both seasons. Team advanced to the Elite Eight one time during his tenure. Shot 48.3 percent from 3-point range.

At John W. North High School: Averaged 12.4 points and 4.2 assists per game. Earned All-League honors as a junior and senior. Team won a CIF 1A Championship and won four league championships while he was on the team.

Personal: Son of Tony and Sharon Walker. Majoring in civil engineering. Enjoys basketball, video games, building things and watching anime. Lists winning a CIF championship during his sophomore year in high school as his most exciting experience in sports.
