2024-25: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Started all 28 games he appeared in and played a total of 930 minutes. Led the team with 19.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Was second in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in scoring. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from the D2 Conference Commissioners Association and first-team All-CCAA honors. Had a career-high 30 points and fueled a come-from-behind 68-65 win at Cal State East Bay (2-27-25). Had 26 points in the second half as Cal State LA rallied from 19 points down to clinch a spot in the CCAA Tournament. Also matched a career-high 13 rebounds in that contest. Had 17 points and 13 rebounds at Cal State San Bernardino (1-2-25). Had a 29-point, 11-rebound double-double against Sonoma State (2-1-25). Had 27 points and eight rebounds at San Francisco State (3-1-25). Scored 20 or more points in 16 games, including the final seven games. Reached double-figures in scoring in 26 of 28 games and had five double-doubles. Received the Frank J. Candida Award as Cal State LA's Male Athlete of the Year. For his career, appeared in 60 games with 58 starts and played a total of 1,731 minutes. Averaged 15.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Reached double figures in 50 games and scored 20 or more points in 18 games. Had seven double-doubles.

2023-24: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Was one of the top newcomers in the West Region. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Appeared in 31 games and started 29 times. Played a total of 773 minutes. Averaged 12.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Led the team in rebounding and was third in scoring. Led the team in free-throw shooting by making 78.6 of his attempts. Was 31-of-34 (91.1 percent) over the final six games. Made his Cal State LA debut and had 16 points and five rebounds in 24 minutes of a 73-65 win at Biola (11-10-23). Got his first start and had 17 points and eight rebounds in an 88-65 win over Concordia (11-11-23). Recorded a double-double with 20 points and a season-high 10 rebounds at San Francisco State (1-13-24). Was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Had 11 points and 10 rebounds in an 86-65 win over Cal State Monterey Bay (2-3-24). Had a season-high 21 points, eight rebounds and a season-high five steals in an 84-62 win over San Francisco State in a CCAA Tournament game (3-7-24). Earned CCAA All-Tournament honors after scoring 45 points in the Golden Eagles’ three victories. Reached double figures in scoring 24 times and scored 20 or more points twice.

At East Los Angeles College: Was second on the team in scoring with 11.5 points per game in 2022-23. Played in 29 games and also averaged 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Averaged 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29 games as a freshman. Earned first-team All-Conference honors both seasons and was a league MVP in 2022. Also earned All-America honors.

At West Ranch High School: Was a two-time Most Valuable Player and earned All-American, first-team All-State and first-team All-City honors all four seasons. Was also a member of the All-Defensive team.

Personal: Son of Corey Cofield and Gina Sutherland-Cofield. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys gettin’ better. Lists cutting the net as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he fell in love with winning and is obsessed with getting better.
