2024-25: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 18 games with 12 starts. Played a total of 334 minutes. Averaged 9.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Made his Cal State LA debut and scored one point in four minutes against Concordia (11-8-24). Got his first start and played 15 minutes in a 75-63 win over Stanislaus State (12-5-24). Made all eight field-goal attempts and had an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 64-45 win over Cal State Monterey Bay (12-7-24). Had season highs with 28 points and 12 rebounds in a 64-58 win over Cal State San Marcos (1-30-25). Had 20 points in an 87-81 win over Cal State East Bay (1-18-25) and had 21 points and seven rebounds in the next game against Cal Poly Humboldt (1-23-25). Was a combined 16-of-21 from the floor in those games. Reached double figures in nine games and had 20 or more points in four games. Reached double figures in rebounds twice and had two double-doubles.

At Southeastern Community College: Appeared in 30 games with 25 starts in 2023-24. Averaged 12.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Also played in 24 games for Clarendon College in 2022-23.

At Winston Salem High School: Attended and competed in basketball.

Personal: Son of Jean-Luc and Sandrine Gay. Majoring in business. Enjoys basketball. Lists playing on the national team as his most exciting experience in sports.
