2024-25: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first season on the court. Appeared in 28 games and played a total of 384 minutes. Averaged 4.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. Was fourth on the team in 3-pointers made with 20. Made his Cal State LA debut and had six points and three rebounds in 20 minutes against Concordia (11-8-24). Had a season-high 13 points and was 5-of-7 from the floor in an 87-67 win at Cal State San Marcos (1-11-25). Also had 10 points and was 4-of-6 from the floor and 2-of-2 from 3-point range against Vanguard (11-23-24). Had nine points and a season-high four rebounds in an 82-77 win at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-13-25). Had a season-high three assists in three games. Reached double figures in scoring in two games. Earned a D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2024-25 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2023-24: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program.

At Culver City High School: Won Male Athlete of the Year honors. Earned first-team All-Bay League in 2023 and second-team All-Bay League honors in 2022. Was on a team that reached the regional final. Earned MVP honors at the Wilson Holiday Classic and the End of Summer Invitational.

Personal: Son of Thaddeus Scales and Jeanine Davis. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys swimming, hiking and going to the movies. Lists hitting the game-winning 3-pointer to send his team to the state championship semifinal as his most exciting experience in sports.
