Biography

At Grossmont College: Earned first-team All-Pacific Coast Conference honors after averaging 13.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned a Team Scholar-Athlete award. Was on the President’s List for academics. Was the school’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
 
At Eastlake High School: Competed in volleyball, basketball and track and field. Averaged 17.3 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Earned first-team Mesa All-League honors and was a Scholar-Athlete all four years. School record-holder for rebounds. Most Inspirational Player in volleyball. Earned All-Academic Team honors in track and field and won a league titles in the discus. Graduated with honors and had a 4.2 grade point average.
 
Personal: Daughter of Toni Russell. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys poetry, music, movies and cooking. Lists making it to CIF in high school for the first time in 10 years and playing on T.V. as her most exciting experience in sports.
