Summary

Biography

2007-08: Returned from injury and had a productive season for the Golden Eagles while wrapping up a four-year playing career. Appeared in 21 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 647 minutes. Averaged 10.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Was second on the team with 49 assists and first in steals with 39. Had season highs with 22 points, seven rebounds and six steals at Cal State Monterey Bay (1-18-08). Reached double figures in scoring 14 times. For her career, appeared in 95 games and started 74 times. Played a total of 2,821 minutes. Averaged 8.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Also had 298 assists (3.1 per game) and 163 steals (1.7 per game).

2006-07: Sat out the 2006-07 season with injury.

2005-06: Appeared in 22 games and started eight times. Averaged 4.3 points per game. Had a season-high 13 points against Cal State Bakersfield (2-22-06).

2004-05: Had an outstanding season in her second year with the program. Was second on the team in scoring with 11.4 points per game. Started all 27 games for the Golden Eagles. Finished the season with a flourish, scoring 88 points in the Golden Eagles’ final three games. Poured in a career-high 35 points against Cal State Stanislaus (3-4-05) and had 27 points against Chico State (3-5-05) and 26 points against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-26-05). Reached doubled figures in scoring 15 times and scored more than 20 points four times. Led the team with 131 assists and steals with 64.

2003-04: Had a productive start to her Cal State L.A. career. Appeared in 25 games and started 21 times. Averaged 8.2 points per game. Scored a season-high 17 points twice, against Cal Poly Pomona (2-14-04) and Cal State Stanislaus (2-21-04). Reached double figures in scoring 11 times, including five straight contests late in the season.

At Walnut HS: Competed in basketball and volleyball. Earned second-team All-CIF honors and led team to the San Antonio League championship. Set school record for most three-pointers made in a season (29). Also set single-season records for assists (108), steals (102) and free-throw percentage (.815). Averaged 11.2 points, 9.3 assists, 4.9 steals and 4.1 rebounds.

Personal: Daughter of Stuart and Noreen Oda. Majoring in Kinesiology. Lists taking second place in AAU Nationals and also making it to the NCAA Division II West Regionals at Washington Washington in 2005-06 as her most exciting experiences in sports.
