Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Concluded her indoor career at Cal State LA with a second strong season. Played in 25 of the team’s 26 matches and was fourth on the team in digs with 227. Also had three service aces and 38 set assists. Set a new career high with 25 digs in a five-set match against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Also had 24 digs in a five-set match at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 21. Earned a CCAA Fall All-Academic Award for the second straight year.

2015: Had a dynamic first season at Cal State LA and appeared in all 30 matches. Was third on the team with 258 digs and led the team in digs per set with 3.0. Had a season-high 23 digs in a five-set match at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 26. Had 19 digs in a three-set win at Hawaii-Hilo on Sept. 10 and 19 again in a four-set match at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 3. Reached double figures in digs in 13 matches. Had two service aces in wins over Felician on Sept. 10 and at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 16. Earned a CCAA All-Academic Award.

At Mt. SAC: Earned first-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore and picked up the team’s award for Best Defense. Was on the President’s List as a freshman and sophomore. Earned the Don McKenzie Scholarship as a sophomore and was a Student of Distinction as a sophomore.

At Diamond Bar High School: Earned first-team All-League honors during her freshman, sophomore and senior years. Was the team Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and junior and the Best Defensive Player as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of David and Christine Clancy. Majoring in Nursing.
