Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Had his second and final season with the Golden Eagles cut short by injury. Started the first three games and played every minute until an injury in the 86th minute of a 0-0 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 6 ended his season. Made his season debut and played all 90 minutes in a 6-2 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 1 and played all 110 minutes of a 1-1 tie against Point Loma on Sept. 3. For his career, appeared in and started 21 games. Played a total of 1,965 minutes. Had one goal and one assist for three points.

2015: Had an impressive first season with the Golden Eagles and was a big part of the team’s defensive backline. Appeared in 18 games and started them all. Played a total of 1,680 minutes. Missed two games because of injury, but returned for the NCAA playoff game at Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 14. Had a goal and assist in a 3-1 win over UC San Diego in a CCAA Tournament first-round game on Nov. 3. Scored the first goal of the game in the 52^nd minute and assisted on the game-winning goal in the 76^th minute. Made his Cal State LA debut and played all 110 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Western Washington on Sept. 3.

At Herkimer CCC: Started 16 of 18 games and was outstanding on defense in 2014. Contributed a pair of assists on offense as well. Made the All-Tournament Team at the regional championships. Team won the regional title.

At SUNY Adirondack: Started in 14 of 17 appearances in 2013. Had two goals and three assists for seven points. Made the Dean’s List.

At King David High School: Was named the Sportsman of the Year in 2011. Competed in soccer.

Personal: Son of Jonathan and Nina Kersh. Majoring in business. Enjoys hiking, cross country walking, and outdoor sporting adventures. Lists playing in the final of the Dallas Cup for Liverpool FC Foundation College in 2014 as his most exciting experience in sports.
