Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Finished third in the heptathlon in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships and earned all-conference honors. Also placed fifth in the conference in the triple jump. Earned All-West Region honors in the heptathlon after recording a season's best total of 4,766 points. Had best marks of 27.08 in the 200, 2:33.31 in the 800, 15.37 in the 100 hurdles, 5-1.25 in the high jump, 18-9.25 in the long jump, 38-6.75 in the triple jump, 39-10 in the shot put and 125-2 in the javelin. Also competed during the indoor track season and had a season's best total of 3,363 points in the pentathlon. Had best marks of 26.89 in the 200, 2:28.89 in the 800, 9.48 in the 60 hurdles, 5-1 in the high jump, 16-7.25 in the long jump, 37-5.75 in the triple jump and 36-4.75 in the shot put. Earned All-West Region honors in the pentathlon. Finished her career No. 3 all-time at Cal State LA in the heptathlon. Also finished No. 3 all-time in the pentathlon, No. 7 all-time in the high jump and No. 7 all-time in the triple jump in indoor track and field.

At Ava Gymnasium: Qualified for the Nordic Junior Championships for combined events and finished fourth with a personal best. Had best marks of 4,808 in the heptathlon and 3,523 in the pentathlon.

Personal: Daughter of John and Liselotte Rosshagen. Majoring in English. Enjoys family, friends, music, playing the guitar, literature, traveling and experiencing new cultures. Lists competing in the Nordic Junior Championships in Norway and managing a personal best in the heptathlon as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she and her fellow competitors were almost flushed away in the heavy rainfall during the event.
