2016: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had best marks of 104-11 in the discus and 123-3 in the hammer throw. Placed 15th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the hammer throw and 23rd in the discus. For her career, had best marks of 26-7.25 in the shot put, 104-11 in the discus and 123-3 in the hammer.

2015: Competed well for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Had best marks of 26-7.25 in the shot put, 96-8 in the discus and 121-4 in the hammer throw. Finished 19th in the CCAA in the shot put and 18th in the discus.

At East Los Angeles JC: Had a best mark of 115-0 in the hammer throw.

At Garfield High School: Was a member of the school’s drill team. Won the USA National’s Military Division two years in a row.

Personal: Daughter of Mayra Simons. Majoring in biochemistry. Enjoys dancing, reading and hanging out with friends and family. Lists competing unattached as her most exciting experience in sports.
