Cal State LA Athletics

At UNLV: Selected to the Academic All-Mountain West Team for cross country in 2013. Ran in six meets, including the Mountain West Championships and the NCAA West Regional. Best 5,000-meter time was 19:48.5 at the Titan Invitational and best 6,000-meter time was 25:09 at the NCAA West Regional. Finished 73^rd at the Mountain West Championships and 216^th at the NCAA West Regional.

At Pasadena City College: Finished ninth in the state in the 10,000 meters in 2013 and was fifth in the conference in the 10,000. Also placed sixth in the conference in the 5,000. Had best times of 2:30.62 in the 800, 4:58.63 in the 1,500, 10:50.16 in the 3,000, 18:33.71 in the 5,000 and 39:11.13 in the 10,000. Also ran in 10 cross country meets in 2011-12.

At Gabrielino High School: Competed for two years in track and field and cross country.

Personal: Daughter of Michael Steimer and Laura Barragan-Steimer. Majoring in international relations/political science. Enjoys running. Lists going to the state championships in San Mateo for the 10,000 meters and competing in Hawaii for UNLV as her most exciting experiences in sports.
