Cal State LA Athletics

2012-13: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and played a total of 138 minutes. Averaged 4.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Matched a career-high with 17 points and had seven rebounds and a career-high five steals in a season-opening 90-48 win over La Sierra (11-9-12). Also had 17 points in a 117-32 win over Pacifica (12-10-12).  For his career, appeared in 36 games and played a total of 281 minutes. Averaged 5.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game.

2011-12: Had a solid debut season for the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 17 games and played a total of 143 minutes. Averaged 5.9 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Scored a season-high 17 points and made all seven of his field-goal attempts in his season debut against American Sports University (11-12-11). Had 14 points and seven rebounds in win over Pacifica College (11-25-11). Had 11 points and five rebounds in a win over Cal State East Bay (1-27-12) and had 11 points and three steals in a win against Cal State Monterey Bay (1-28-12). Had nine points in 10 minutes at Humboldt State (2-11-12).

At Los Angeles Trade Tech: Attended the school, but did not compete in basketball. Averaged 9.3 points and 1.3 steals per game at Mt. San Jacinto Junior College.

At Crenshaw High School: Was part of championship basketball teams in high school.

Personal: Son of Yevone Rice Grimes. Majoring in fire administration. Enjoys video games and music. Lists his first dunk in a game as his most exciting experience in sports.
