Cal State LA Athletics

2012-13: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in all 27 games and started five times. Played a total of 684 minutes. Averaged 7.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Led the team with 82 assists and 47 steals. Was fifth on the team in scoring. Had a season-high 17 points and knocked down four 3-pointers at Cal State San Bernardino (12-1-12). Also had 16 points, two assists and two steals in a 62-58 win over San Francisco State (2-15-13). Made his Cal State LA debut and also made his first start, playing 26 minutes in a 90-48 win over La Sierra (11-9-12). Played a season-high 41 minutes at California Baptist (11-24-12). Reached double figures in scoring nine times. 

At Webster University: Led the team in scoring with a 15.2 points per game average, in assists with 4.0 per game and steals with 78. Helped team to a 20-7 overall record and into the NCAA Division III playoffs. Earned first-team All-Conference honors and was the Conference Tournament MVP and Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

At Riverside City College: Was the Wells Fargo Tournament MVP and helped team to a state championship.

At Upland High School: Finished career as the program’s all-time leading scorer. Was the 2007 Inland Valley Daily Bulletin Player of the Year and the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin All-Star Game MVP. Earned first-team All-CIF honors and was the Baseline League’s MVP.

Personal: Son of Willie Trimble Sr. and Celestine Thomas and the grandson of Kader Thomas. Majoring in public relations. Lists going to the state championship at RCC and playing in the NCAA Division III Tournament as his most exciting experiences in sports.
