2011-12: Had a third strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 27 games and started 19 times. Played a total of 564 minutes. Averaged 9.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Was fourth on the team in scoring and third in rebounding. Had a career-high 22 points and 11 rebounds in an 82-71 win San Francisco State (1-20-12). Also had double-doubles with 18 points and 12 rebounds in a 75-56 win over California Baptist (11-26-11) and 11 points and 10 rebounds in a 49-41 win against UC San Diego (12-3-12). Reached double figures in scoring 11 times. For his career, appeared in 76 games and started 57 times. Played a total of 1,754 minutes. Averaged 9.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Also had 56 blocks.

2010-11: Had another good season for the Golden Eagles as a sophomore. Missed first six games of the season because of preseason injury suffered in exhibition game at UCLA. Finished the season fourth on the team in scoring with 10.7 points per game and fifth in rebounding with 5.1 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 21 points against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-12-11) and had 20 points in a win at Chico State (1-29-11). Had 18 points at Cal State San Bernardino (2-5-11) and against Humboldt State (3-4-11) in the CCAA Championship Tournament. Reached double figures in scoring 12 times.
 
2009-10: Had an outstanding first season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the top freshmen in the CCAA. Was third on the team in scoring with 9.6 points per game and second in rebounding with 5.8 rebounds per game. Recorded three double-doubles during the season. Had a season-high 19 points and 11 rebounds against Humboldt State (1-30-10). Poured in 16 points in games at Cal State San Bernardino (1-15-10) and against Sonoma State (1-29-10). Had a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double against Cal State San Bernardino (2-20-10) and a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double at San Francisco State (2-12-10). Reached double figures in scoring in 15 games.
 
At Loyola High School: Helped his team reach the CIF Championship game after averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game. Earned first-team All-state, All-CIF and first-team All-League honors as a senior and was the team’s Most Valuable Player. Also earned first-team All-League honors and was named the team’s Most Improved Player as a junior.
 
Personal: Son of Tom and Suzanne Hoffman. Majoring in TV/Film Studies. Enjoys sports and video games. Lists playing in the CIF Finals and the CIF State Southern Section Final as his most exciting experiences in sports.
