Summary

Biography

2011-12: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in nine games and played a total of 59 minutes. Averaged 1.1 points and 0-6 rebounds per game. Had a season-high seven points, three assists and two rebounds in a win against American Sports University (11-12-11). Had a season-high four assists against in a win against Pacifica College (11-25-11). For his career, appeared in 63 games and started six times. Played a total of 779 minutes. Averaged 2.5 points, 0.9 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.

2010-11: Had a solid second season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 27 games and started four times. Averaged 15.3 minutes per game. Averaged 2.9 points and 1.0 rebound per contest. Had a season-high 10 points against Pacifica College (11-20-10). Also had nine points in just 15 minutes against San Francisco State (2-11-11). Started four straight games against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-12-11), Cal State East Bay (2-18-11), UC San Diego (2-19-11) and Sonoma State (2-23-11).Was fourth on the team in 3-pointers made (16).
 
2009-10: Made an immediate impact for the Golden Eagles in his freshman season and appeared in 27 games. Made two starts and averaged 11 minutes per game. Had a season-high 12 points and knocked down four 3-pointers in a win over West Coast Baptist (12-18-09). Had nine points at Sonoma State (12-5-09) and had seven points in 20 quality minutes against Humboldt State (1-30-10). Averaged 2.6 points. Hit 13 of his 3-point attempts and was 23-of-31 from the free-throw line. Recorded the highest grade point average on the team.
 
At Montana State: Did not play for the Big Sky Conference program and was a redshirt.
 
At San Marcos High School: Earned first-team All-League honors after averaging 10.3 points and 4.7 assists per game. Helped team reach the second round of the CIF playoffs. Was the team Most Valuable Player. Was a member of the National Honor Society. Competed in basketball and baseball.
 
Personal: Son of Craig and Meredith Hopkins. Majoring in business management. Enjoys going to the beach. Lists beating Chico State in Chico as his most exciting experience in sports.
