Cal State LA Athletics

2011: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in 19 matches and 54 sets. Had 48 kills, 12 blocks, seven service aces and 56 digs. Had a season-high seven kills and three aces in a three-set win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 25. Had a season-high eight digs in a four-set win over Sonoma State on Oct. 28 and at Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 2. For her career, appeared in 33 matches and played a total of 95 sets. Had 86 kills, 28 blocks, 16 service aces and 116 digs.

2010: Made an immediate impact for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Had 38 kills and 16 blocks. Also contributed nine service aces. Was limited to 14 matches and 41 sets played due to injury. Missed one month of action from Oct. 1 to Nov. 2. Had a season-high nine kills and a hitting percentage of .333 in four sets in a win over Chico State on Sept. 10. Also had a season-high four service aces and a season-high 11 digs in that match. Had seven kills and two set assists in a four-set win over Simon Fraser on Sept. 3. Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award.

At Orange Coast College: Earned junior college All-America honors in 2009. Was a two-time team Most Valuable Player and team captain. Earned first-team All-Conference honors twice. Earned All-Region and All-State honors as well.

At Edison High School: Was a scholar-athlete all four years in high school. Participated with the Junior National team in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Personal: Daughter of Chet and Alisa Fields. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys dancing, beach volleyball and baking. Lists winning the state tournament in 2009 with Orange Coast College as her most exciting experience in sports. Has a little brother, Tyler.
