At Cal State Dominguez Hills: Played for two seasons with the Toros in 2008-09. Appeared in a total of 57 matches and 178 sets. Had 94 kills and 23 blocks in 28 contests in 2009. Had season-high eight kills in matches against Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 12 and Chico State on Nov. 13. Had 118 kills and 56 blocks in 29 matches in 2008. The 56 blocks were second on the team. Had a season-high seven kills against Notre Dame de Namur on Sept. 5, Cal State Stanislaus on Sept. 27, UC San Diego on Oct. 16 and Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 7. Was named to the CCAA All-Academic team with a 4.0 grade point average.

At La Verne Lutheran High School: Was a class salutatorian with academic honors. Earned second-team All-League honors in volleyball as a sophomore and first-team All-League and first-team All-CIF honors as a junior and senior. Was the high school Heisman winner and Female Athlete of the Year in 2008. Competed in volleyball, softball and basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Scott and Carol Rushton. Majoring in chemistry. Enjoys English horseback riding.
