Box Score FRESNO -- Cal State LA's women's tennis team completed play on Friday at the ITA Fall Regionals hosted by Fresno Pacific.

Sarah Olmos had the best performance for the Golden Eagles, splitting a pair of matches and advancing to the tournament quarterfinals in a spectacular run. After winning her first two matches on Thursday, Olmos started her day on Friday by edging Ariana Audelo of Point Loma, 0-6, 6-2, (10-6) in the Round of 16. She then put up a battle before falling to No. 1 seed Madison Kane of Azusa Pacific, 6-4, 6-2.

Olmos and Hideka Takamura had some early success on Friday, taking their first consolation match over Jazlyn Miyamura and Melissa Zirkle of Point Loma, 8-5. After a second-round bye into the quarterfinals, the Cal State LA team had to withdraw due to an injury.
