SEATTLE, WASH. -- Cal State LA's women's indoor track and field team had several more season's bests Saturday on the second and final day of the University of Washington Invitational.
The best individual finish on Saturday belonged to
Javany McDermott, who was fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 36-8.25. That mark fell just shy of her season's best, but was still good enough for a top finish.
Imani McGee was 15th in the shot put with a season's best mark of 38-3.25,
Pamela Grissom was 16th with a season's best of 37-9.50 and
Ja'Narie Rhambo was 20th with a mark of 35-7.25.
Dericka Braden finished 23rd in the 400 meters with a time of 60.44 that was her best of the season.
Eden Hahn led four Golden Eagles in the 60 by finishing 27th with a time of 8.07.
Mya Ferguson was 34th in 8.16,
Alyssa Johnson was 38th in 8.29 and McDermott was 40th in 8.44.
Cal State LA will return to action next Friday at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
