Summary

Biography

2022: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Finished fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships in the hammer throw with a season’s best mark of 156-8. Also finished 12th in the shot put at the conference meet. Had a best mark of 38-11.75 in the shot put. Also had an outstanding season in indoor and set a new career best in the weight throw with a mark of 52-10.25. Also had a new best mark of 37-3 in the shot put. Earned All-West Region honors in the weight throw in indoor track. For her career, had best marks of 38-11.75 in the shot put and 158-2 in the hammer in outdoor track and 37-3 in the shot put and 52-10.25 in the weigh throw in indoor track. Finished her career No. 3 all-time in the weight throw in indoor and No. 4 all-time in the hammer throw in outdoor.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2020: Had an outstanding start to her first year with the Golden Eagles before the season was halted. Had best marks of 35-11.25 in the shot put and 158-2 in the hammer. Was No. 8 in the nation in the hammer when the season ended. Mark also moved her to No. 4 all-time in that event at Cal State LA. Also had a strong indoor season for the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 34-4.25 in the shot put and 48-8.75 in the weight throw.

At El Camino Junior College: Finished second in the conference in the shot put and hammer and third in the Southern California regionals in the hammer. Finished sixth in the state in the hammer and made the all-time Top-10 at El Camino in the shot and hammer.

At California Lutheran University: Finished fourth in the conference in both the shot put and hammer. Had best marks of 37-8.75 in the shot put and 145-10 in the hammer. Shot put mark is No. 4 all-time at Cal Lutheran and the hammer throw mark is No. 7 all-time.

At Bishop Montgomery High School: Competed in soccer and track and field. Won a conference title and also competed in the Junior Olympics.

Personal: Daughter of Walter and Janelva Williams. Majoring in theatre/film. Enjoys swimming, movies, jet skiing, boat rides and seeing animals. Lists participating in the Junior Olympics in 2016 as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she is an actress and a director and is also scuba certified. Also points out she’s a lefty.
