IRVINE -- A short-handed Cal State LA beach volleyball team fell short Wednesday in a match at Concordia-Irvine.
The Golden Eagles had to juggle their lineups and fell to the Eagles, 5-0, at Great Park in Irvine. Cal State LA (2-4) dropped all the matches in straight sets.

Alexis Seeley-Morris and
Victoria Duarte fell at No. 3 pairs, 21-8, 21-16,
Haley Roundtree and
Jeshmarie Suarez fell at No. 4 pairs, 21-12, 21-15 and
Shea McGovern and
Shelby Grubbs fell at No. 5 pairs, 21-3, 21-9.
Cal State LA will return to action on Friday with a pair of matches at Cal State Northridge.
