Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Was one of the best players on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in her one year with the program. Had a 3-2 record at No. 2 pairs with partner Jessica Kaeka when the season was halted.

2019: Had an outstanding season with Cal State LA’s indoor team and was one of the team’s best players in her one year with the program. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was second on the team in kills with 266 and second in points with 303. Reached double figures in kills 15 times. Had a season-high 17 kills and 12 digs in a five-set match against Central Washington on Sept. 12. Also had 15 kills and four blocks in a five-set win over Sonoma State on Oct. 19 and 15 kills and five blocks in a five-set win over San Francisco State in a CCAA Tournament match on Nov. 21.

At LIU Brooklyn: Competed at the NCAA Division I school for three seasons. Earned Academic Honor Roll honors in Fall 2018 and Spring 2018. Earned first-team All-Northeast Conference Tournament honors in 2018.

At College of Central Florida: Earned All-Mid-Florida Conference and All-State honors in 2015.

At Sistema de Ensino HS: Played volleyball at her high school in Brazil.

Personal: Daughter of Marcos and Cristina Azevedo. Pursuing a Master’s degree in marketing. Enjoys watching soccer games, taking pictures of her friends, going to the beach and dancing. Lists winning the NEC Tournament with LIU Brooklyn and making the NCAA Tournament in 2017 as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she played for one season at College of Central Florida and played for LIU Brooklyn after that.
