Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Competed for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring. Had a 3-2 record at No. 4 pairs and also played one match at No. 3 pairs.

2019: Joined Cal State LA’s indoor volleyball program last fall, but did not compete in any matches and was a red-shirt.

At San Joaquin Delta College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore and graduated with a grade point average of 3.4. Team competed in the state tournament during her freshman year and finished first in Northern California and second in the state of California.

At Liberty High School: Made the varsity team for the first time as a sophomore. Was the league Most Valuable Player and Most Offensive Player as a senior. Was also the team captain. Earned second-team All-Conference honors as a junior and maintained a 3.75 grade point average.

Personal: Daughter of Marcus Apel and Amy Pyror-Miller. Majoring in natural science. Enjoys eating, watching Netflix and going to baseball games. Lists reaching the championship match in the state tournament during her freshman year at San Joaquin Delta College as her most exciting experience in sports. Says everything she does in life is for her mother, who recently passed away. Says her mother was her best friend and biggest supporter and she will not let her down.
