Biography

2008: Had a sensational indoor season for the Golden Eagles to complete a tremendous career with the track and field program. Won the national championship in the indoor triple jump with a program-record mark of 40-1.25. Also earned All-America honors in the indoor long jump after finishing fourth in the nation. Was named the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association West Region Field Athlete of the Year. Earned the department's 2007-08 Billie Jean King Award as Cal State L.A.'s top female athlete. For her career, had best marks of 40-1.25 in the triple jump and xx in the long jump in indoor track. Had best marks of 18-11.25 in the long jump and 40-10.75 in the triple jump in outdoor track. Finished her career No. 1 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the triple jump and No. 3 in the long jump in indoor track and No. 2 all-time in the triple jump in outdoor track. Earned a total of four All-America awards.

2007.: Earned All-America honors in indoor track in 2007. Finished fourth in the nation in the long jump with a mark of 18-10.50.

2006: Captured the California Collegiate Athletic Association championship in the triple jump in outdoor track and field with a mark of 40-10.25 and also finished 11th in the country in that event with a mark of 40-2.25. Picked up All-America honors for the first time in indoor track and field by finishing sixth in the long jump with a leap of 18-11.25.

2005: Earned All-CCAA honorable mention in the long jump in outdoor track and field in 2005 with a mark of 18-9.

At Saddleback College: Was the Field Athlete of the Year in 2003 and 2004.

At Mission Viejo High School: Was the Field Athlete of the Year as a senior in 2002.

Personal: Daughter of Carol Cooper Ajibabi. Majoring in social work. Enjoys collecting dolphins. Lists jumping 40-10 in the triple jump at the CCAA Championships as her most exciting experience in sports.
