2008: Had a strong indoor season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had best times of 5:22.11 in the mile, 10:43.59 in the 3,000 and 17:57.33 in the 5,000. For her career, had best times of 36:57.30 in the 10,000 in outdoor track and 5:22.11 in the mile, 10:43.59 in the 3,000 and 17:57.22 in the 5,000 in indoor track. Finished her career No. 9 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the 10,000 in outdoor track and No. 1 all-time in the 3,000 and No. 6 all-time in the 5,000 in indoor track.

2007: Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors in outdoor track and field after finishing second in the 10,000 meters with a time of 36:57.30. Earned All-CCAA honors for the second straight year in the fall after finishing fifth in the conference championships and helping the Golden Eagles to the team title. Also earned All-West Region honors after finishing 10^th and helping the Golden Eagles to a second-place team finish. Placed 51^st in the nation and helped the Golden Eagles finish fifth as a team.

2006: Was named the CCAA Newcomer of the Year after finishing 13^th in the conference cross finals and earning All-CCAA honors. Finished 25^th in the NCAA Division II West Regional and was the No. 4 runner on the Golden Eagles' championship team. Also placed 61^st in the national championships and was the No. 5 runner on the Golden Eagles’ team that finished fourth in the nation.

At Glendale College: Was the Most Valuable Runner for the cross country team for two seasons, earned second-team All-Conference honors in cross country. Earned All-Conference honors in track and field in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. Cross country team won a conference championship. Was a team captain for both cross country and track and field teams.

Personal: Daughter of Anastacio Cespedes. Majoring in child development. Enjoys running, movies and hanging out with friends. Lists traveling to different places and going to nationals as her most exciting experiences in sports.
