Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Finished 76^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 24:30.7 over 6,000 meters and 148^th in the NCAA Division II West Regionals with a time of 24:33.8 over 6,000 meters.

At San Joaquin Delta College: Finished third in the state in the 800 meters and earned All-America honors. Received the team’s Most Valuable Player award.

At Edison High School: Competed in basketball, track and field and cross country. Earned the school’s T-cal award and was an Athlete of the Month.

Personal: Daughter of Jesse and Gladys Beard. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys reading and watching Netflix. Lists stepping out on the track and zoning out during the conference meet and winning the 800-meter championship as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she likes to be called, “CeCe.”
