Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Finished 10th in the 100 meters in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also finished 17th in the 200. Had best marks of 12.29 in the 100 and 25.39 in the 200. Also competed during the indoor season and had best marks of 7.93 in the 60 and 26.09 in the 200. For her career, had best marks of 12.29 in the 100 and 25.39 in the 200 in outdoor track and 7.93 in the 60 and 26.09 in the 200 in indoor track. Finished her career No. 10 all-time at Cal State LA in the indoor 60.

2016: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Was part of Cal State LA’s 4x100 relay team that placed third in the CCAA championships. Earned All-West Region as part of the 4x100 relay team. Had best marks of 12.49 in the 100 meters and 26.21 in the 200. Also competed for Cal State LA’s indoor track and field team and had best marks of 7.94 in the 60 and 26.81 in the 200.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Earned the Most Improved Athlete and The Gregoire Award for the Mounties in 2014. Was on the school’s Honor Roll. Had best times of 11.98 in the 100, 25.33 in the 200 and ran on a 4x100 team that had a best time of 46.08. Was part of a state championship team in 2014.

At Corona High School: Won a league championship in the 4x100 relay. Also competed in basketball. Was the Most Improved Athlete as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Willie Puckett and Ericka Lauderdale. Majoring in public health. Enjoys 8-ball pool. Lists the first time she qualified for the state finals in the 100 dash as her most exciting experience in sports. Says selfies are her life and that she loves the color pink. Notes she wants to pursue a career in nursing and become a registered nurse.
