Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Had a strong second season with the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had best marks of 2:35.62 in the 800 meters and 5:26.11 in the 1,500. For her career, had best times of 2:35.62 in the 800 and 5:26.11 in the 1,500.

2016: Had a good first season with the Golden Eagles. Had a best time of 5:28.22 in the 1,500 meters. Also ran for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall for a second season. Competed in six races. Finished 112^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 27:17.8 over 6,000 meters.

2015: Had a promising debut for Cal State LA’s cross country team and ran in five races. Finished 112^th with a time of 26:41.6 over a 6,000-meter course at the CCAA Championships and was 183^rd in 26:45.3 over a 6,000-meter course at the NCAA Division II West Regionals.

At Los Angeles Trade Tech: Competed in water polo, cross country and swimming.

At Granada Hills High School: Competed in water polo.

Personal: Daughter of Adela Viramontes. Majoring in biology. Enjoys swimming. Lists traveling as her most exciting experience in sports.
