2021: Was one of the team’s top defenders in her final season with the program. Appeared in 17 games with 11 starts. Played a total of 1,118 minutes, which was fifth on the team. Played all 110 minutes in California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament match at San Francisco State. Played 90 or more minutes in a game nine times. Earned CCAA 2021 Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For her career, appeared in 32 games and started 15 times. Played a total of 1,878 minutes.

2020: Earned CCAA 2020 Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in 15 games and started four times. Played a total of 760 minutes. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 59 minutes in a 2-1 win at Biola on Sept. 5. Made her first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 80 minutes in a 1-0 win over Concordia-Irvine on Sept. 9. Played a season-high 89 minutes at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 17. Played meaningful minutes in Cal State LA’s two NCAA playoff games, getting 17 minutes in a 1-0 win at Sonoma State in a first-round game on Nov. 22 and 31 minutes in a second-round game against Western Washington on Nov. 24. Received a 2019 CCAA Fall All-Academic Award.

At Taft College: Was the Central Valley Conference’s Defender of the Year and the team’s Most Valuable Player. Also received honors from the Bakersfield Jockey Club.

At Stockdale High School: Was the Defensive Most Valuable Player.

Personal: Daughter of Francisca Vargas. Majoring in natural science. Enjoys soccer. Lists shutouts as her most exciting experiences in sports.
