Summary

Biography

2021: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the D2 Conference Commissioners Association and second-team honors from the United Soccer Coaches. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for a third straight season. Led the team in scoring with four goals and two assists for 10 points. Appeared in 18 games with 13 starts. Played a total of 1,146 minutes, which was third on the team. Was outstanding late in the season and spearheaded the Golden Eagles’ drive to the postseason. Set up the game-winning goal in double overtime of a 2-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 4 that clinched a spot in the tournament for the Golden Eagles. Scored the lone goal in a 1-1 draw at San Francisco State on Nov. 7 in a first-round tournament game. Also had goals at Concordia on Sept. 4 in a 1-1 tie and at Point Loma on Sept. 9. Also had an assist on Cal State LA’s lone goal in a 1-0 win against Humboldt State on Oct. 31. For her career, appeared in 66 games with 45 starts. Played a total of 3,695 minutes. Scored nine goals with six assists for 24 points.

2020: Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her third year with the program. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and received first-team All-CCAA honors for a second straight year. Had one goal and three assists for five points. Shared the team lead in assists and was fourth on the team in points. Appeared in 17 games and started 14 times. Played a total of 1,057 minutes. Scored her lone goal at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 17. Picked up an assist on a game-winning goal by Lauren Sanchez in the 66th minute of a 1-0 victory over Chico State on Sept. 29. Also had an assist on a goal by Jazmin Smith against Sonoma State on Oct. 13. Had an assist on a goal by Natalie Reynoso in a 5-0 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 7.

2018: Had an outstanding second season for the Golden Eagles and earned first-team All-CCAA honors. Was tied for fourth on the team in scoring. Had two goals and one assist for five points. Scored her first goal in a season-opening 2-0 win at Azusa Pacific on Aug. 30. Got the game-winning goal in the second overtime of a 2-1 victory at Stanislaus State on Sept. 16. Had an assist on a game-winning goal by Kimberly Surio in a 1-0 victory over Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 25. Appeared in all 18 games and started 16 times. Played a total of 1,089 minutes.

2017: Made a positive impact in her first year with the program. Appeared in 13 games and started twice. Was third on the team in scoring with four points. Scored two goals, both in a 2-1 win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 6. First goal came in the 34th minute and gave the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead and the second broke a 1-1 tie in the 59th minute, both coming from assists from Paulina Chaidez.

At Luskin Academy: Was the team Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player from 2013-17. Was also on the Honor Roll 2013-17 and had perfect attendance 2013-17.

Personal: Daughter of Salvador and Irma Pinzon. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Enjoys hiking, going to the beach, running, camping and painting. Lists the 2019 NCAA tournament game at Sonoma State with Danya Gutierrez scoring the game-winning goal in the final minutes as her most exciting experience in sports.
