Cal State LA Athletics

2021: Appeared in three contests, all starts, in her final year with the program. Played a total of 172 minutes. Earned 2021 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For her career, appeared in 17 games and started 10 times. Had four goals and eight points.  Played a total of 779 minutes. Scored game-winning goal in NCAA playoff game at Sonoma State in 2019.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Led the team with four goals and eight points. Appeared in 14 games and started seven times. Played a total of 607 minutes. Scored all four goals in the final five games of the season, including the team’s biggest goal of the season. Got the game-winning score in the 88^th minute of a 1-0 victory at Sonoma State in a first-round NCAA playoff game on Nov. 22. Scored her first two goals of the season in a 5-0 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 7. Also had a goal in a first-round CCAA Tournament game on Nov. 12. Made her Cal State LA debut and got her first start in a 2-1 victory at Biola on Sept. 5.

At Fresno State: Appeared in 15 games and started twice with the Bulldogs as a freshman in 2018. Scored her first collegiate goal against New Mexico on Sept. 28 and picked up her first assists against San Diego State on Sept. 30. Played a total of 429 minutes.

At Sotomayor High School: Was a four-year varsity player. Finished her senior season with 22 goals and 11 assists and led the Northern League in scoring. Helped her team finish with a 9-1 record and a league championship.

Personal: Daughter of Joaquin and Reina Gutierrez. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys hiking and listening to music. Lists scoring the game-winning goal with three minutes left in the 2019 NCAA playoff game against Sonoma State as her most exciting experience in sports.
