At UC San Diego: Had a best time of 2:15.66 in the 800 meters while winning the event at the San Diego City Championships.

At Occidental College: Qualified for the NCAA Division III nationals in cross country in 2007. Captured the SCIAC Championship in the 800 meters in 2007 and took second in the conference in 2008.

At Westridge HS: Competed in track and field and basketball. Was a league MVP in track and field in 2006 and was a league MVP in basketball in 2004 and 2005. Earned All-CIF Division IV honors in basketball in 2005 and 2006. Won a Prep League championship in the 800 meters in 2005 and 2006 and was a two-time CIF finalist in that event.

Personal: Daughter of Joy Weissman. Majoring in history. Enjoys running, reading and writing. Lists qualifying for the NCAA Division III nationals in cross country as an individual while at Occidental as her most exciting experience in sports. Says she loves the L.A. Lakers and wants to be a journalist as well as a teacher in English and history at the high school and community college level s.
