Biography

At Cantwell Sacred Heart High School: Team won cross country league championship in 2008 and 2010. Captured two individual league championships in the 1,600 meters in track and field. Track and field team won league championships in 2008 and 2009. Won Scholar-Athlete awards from 2007-11 and also earned Coaches’ and Inspiration Awards.

Personal: Daughter of Mario and Valerie Perez. Majoring in biology. Enjoys reading, biking, hiking and going out. Lists winning the 1,600 meter championship in 2008 as her most exciting experience in sports.
