Summary

Biography

2011: Had a second sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Finished sixth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the shot put, sixth in the hammer throw and 10th in the discus. Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships in the shot put and finished 11th in the nation. Earned All-West Region honors in the shot put. Had best marks of 56-6.50 in the shot put, 147-6 in the discus and 174-7 in the hammer. Finished his career No. 6 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the shot put.

2010: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Won the CCAA shot put championship with a mark of 55-0.75. That mark qualified him for nationals. Placed 16th in the nation at the national championships. Also had the team’s best marks in the discus (136-8) and hammer throw (165-3).

At West L.A. College: Was the conference champion in the hammer throw and finished second in the shot put. Placed third in the California State Meet in 2008. Had best marks of 54-7 in the shot put and 171-0 in the hammer. Originally attended USC, where he was a junior national qualifier in the hammer.

At Sherman Oaks Notre Dame HS: Competed in football and track and field in high school. Had a best mark of 58-2 in the shot put and finished 13th in the state as a senior. Was the CIF Division 3 runner-up. Team won the CIF Division 3 championship twice. Was also the team captain. Earned All-Mission League honors twice in football. Was a team captain. Voted the most valuable lineman at Notre Dame in 2003. Team won two CIF Division 3 championships. Earned All-CIF honors in 2002.

Personal: Son of Marjorie Frazier. Majoring in English. Enjoys writing, guitar, music and being outdoors. Lists winning two football and two track titles in high school and winning the conference championship in the hammer at West Los Angeles College as his most exciting experiences in sports.
