2009: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had posted terrific marks before an injury shortened his season. Had best marks of 202-9 in the javelin, 125-5 in the discus and 41-7.25 in the shot put. Had posted a provisional qualifying mark in the javelin before being sidelined with injury. Had the team's top marks in all three events. For his career, had best marks of 7,089 in the decathlon, 202-9 in the javelin, 127-5 in the discus, 41-7.25 in the shot put, 21-2.50 in the long jump, 14-1.25 in the pole vault, 6-8.25 in the high jump, 15.13 in the 110 hurdles, 4:59.02 in the 1,500, 52.70 in the 400 and 11.30 in the 100. Finished his career No. 4 all-time in the decathlon and No. 10 in the javelin in program history.
2008: Posted an NCAA Division II automatic qualifying mark in the decathlon with 7,089 points. Had best marks of 194-5 in the javelin, 127-5 in the discus, 40-11.75 in the shot put, 21-2.50 in the long jump, 14-1.25 in the pole vault, 6-8.25 in the high jump, 15.13 in the 110 hurdles, 4:59.02 in the 1,500, 52.70 in the 400 and 11.30 in the 100.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Earned All-America honors in the javelin. Was the team MVP in field events, MVP as a freshman and earned All-Conference honors. Had a best mark in the javelin of 187-11.
At Hacienda Heights Wilson HS: Graduated with honors and had a 4.0 grade point average. Was team MVP in the field events. Competed in track and field, basketball and football.
Personal: Son of Henry and Emma Gonzales. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys shooting pool. Lists state meets as his most exciting experiences in sports.
