Cal State LA Athletics

2013-14: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in five games and played a total of 19 minutes. Averaged 1.2 points and 0.6 rebounds. Had a season-high four points and hit all four of his free throws in a season-high eight minutes of playing time at Cal State San Bernardino (1-24-14). Also had two points and one rebound at Chico State (1-11-14). 

2012-13: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Etiwanda High School: Earned second-team All-Baseline League honors and was a team captain. Team had a record of 30-3 during his senior season and a 29-4 mark during his junior season.

Personal: Son of Mario and Jackie Townes. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys sports, music, and technology. Lists playing in the CIF Finals and state tournaments as his most exciting experiences in sports.
