Cal State LA Athletics

2009-10: Had an outstanding season season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in and started all 28 games. Played a total of 948 minutes. Averaged 13.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Was second on the team in scoring and led the team with 65 assists. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Had a season-high 24 points, four rebounds and four assists against Chico State (2-26-10). Had 23 points, two rebounds and two assists at Chico State (1-22-10). Had 22 points and a season-high eight rebounds against San Francisco State (1-9-10). Reached double figures in scoring 22 times and scored 20 or more points five times. For his career, appeared in 54 games and started 31 times. Played a total of 1,462 minutes. Averaged 11.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Had a total of 88 assists.

2008-09: Had a successful first year with the Golden Eagles. Led the team in 3-point field goals with 31 and was third on the team in scoring with 9.8 points per game. Appeared in 26 of the team’s 27 games and started three times. Had a season-high 25 points to lead the Golden Eagles past Cal State Dominguez Hills, 89-80 (12-31-08). Also had 19 points in back-to-back games against Chico State (2-20-09) and Cal State Stanislaus (2-21-09). Also scored 18 points and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-14-09). Reached double figures in scoring 12 times, including the final seven games of the season. Led the team in scoring six times.

At College of the Canyons: Earned first-team All-Western State Conference honors and was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2006-07. Averaged 14.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. Shot 60 percent from the floor. Scored 37 points in a game against Orange Coast College.

At Hamilton High School: Competed in basketball and earned All-League honors.

Personal: Son of Rosalind Cobb. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys reading and watching movies. Lists playing in the Carrier Dome against Syracuse as his most exciting experience in sports.
