Summary

Biography

2008: Enjoyed an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was named the team’s Most Improved Player. Had her best match of the year in NCAA Division II playoff match against UC San Diego on Nov. 20, posting nine kills with a hitting percentage of .412 and contributing five blocks as well. Both equaled season highs. Also had nine kills with a hitting percentage of .538 in late-season contest at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 14 and had five kills and three blocks with a hitting percentage of .364 in playoff match against Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 21. Was fourth on the team in kills with 128, third in blocks with 52 and sixth in digs with 130.
 
2007: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles.
 
2006: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles.
 
At Carson High School: Earned scholar-athlete recognition at her school and by the Marine League. Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and the league’s Co-MVP and also earned first-team All-League and first-team All-South Bay honors.
 
Personal: Daughter of Siu and Mary Laupepa. Majoring in child development. Enjoys Polynesian dancing, dancing in general and volleyball. Has earned several awards in Polynesian dancing competitions with a top Tahitian group. Lists earning Co-Player of the Year honors as a junior in high school as her most exciting experience in sports.
