Summary

Biography

2024: Was off to a strong start for the Golden Eagles, but played only two games before being injured for the rest of the season. Played two games and a total of 73 minutes. Had one goal for two points. Scored the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute of a 1-0 win at Western Washington on Sept. 12. Missed the remainder of the season. Earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2024 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2023: Was one of the top newcomers on the team in his first season with the program. Appeared in 22 games with three starts. Played a total of 743 minutes. Had two goals and three assists for seven points. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 44 minutes in a 1-0 win over Regis on Aug. 31. Got his first career start for the Golden Eagles and picked up the assist on a goal by Oscar Warne in a 1-0 win over Westmont on Sept. 6. Got his first goal with the Golden Eagles in the 87th minute of a 3-0 win at Biola on Sept. 9. Got his second goal on a free kick in the 79th minute of a 5-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 15. Picked up an assist on a goal by Eduardo Castellanos in the 43rd minute of a 5-0 win over San Francisco State on Sept. 29 and got an assist on a goal by Oscar Warne in the 11th minute of a 3-0 win at Sonoma State on Oct. 27. Played a season-high 56 minutes in a 1-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 6. Earned 2023 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Golden West College: Earned All-Conference honors. Had five goals and one assist for 11 points in 2022. Appeared in 19 games with 18 starts.

At Westminster High School: Was the school’s Athlete of the Year. Was the league soccer Most Valuable Player and the team’s Most Valuable Player three times. Was also a two-time hurdles champion. Competed in soccer, track and field and football.

Personal: Son of Maricela Reynaga. Majoring in educational foundations. Enjoys watching basketball and going to the gym. Lists playing in Europe, winning a national championship with OCFC and winning conference in 2023 at Cal State LA as his most exciting experience in sports.
