Biography

2023-24: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Finished her career as the most prolific 3-point shooter in California Collegiate Athletic Association history. Started all 30 games for the Golden Eagles and led the team with 1,051 minutes played. Averaged 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Was second on the team in scoring and led the team in assists. Also led the team with 65 successful 3-pointers. Earned first-team All-CCAA honors for a third straight season. Had a season-high 25 points and played all 40 minutes of a 79-75 win at Azusa Pacific (11-21-23). Earned CCAA Player of the Week honors for the week of Nov. 20-26 for that performance. Had 22 points in an 89-63 victory over Cal State East Bay (2-10-24). Scored 21 points in three other games, including a CCAA Tournament semifinal against Cal State San Marcos (3-8-24). Had 21 points and a season-high nine assists at Western Washington (11-11-23). Hit a game-winning step-back 3-pointer to lift the Golden Eagles past Sonoma State (2-15-24), 58-57. Scored 20 or more points in five games and reached double figures in scoring 21 times. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Award and 2023-24 CCAA Academic Winter Honor Roll recognition. Also earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators for a second time. For her career, started all 113 games she played in. Played a total of 3,869 minutes. Averaged 13.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Finished her career as the program leader for games played, minutes played and 3-pointers (320) and No. 2 in points (1,568).

2022-23: Had another sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her third year with the program. Established a new program and CCAA career record for 3-points with 255. Set a new single-season record with 99 and led the NCAA Division II with 3.4 made 3-pointers per game. Earned All-America honorable mention recognition from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, becoming the first Cal State LA player since 2003 to earn All-America honors. Also earned first-team All-CCAA honors for a second straight season. Appeared in and started 29 games and led the team in minutes played with 1,048 minutes played. Averaged 15.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Was third in the conference in scoring. Led the team in scoring and assists and third in steals (37). Had a pair of 30-point games, both against Stanislaus State. Had 30 points and two rebounds in an 89-68 win (12-3-22) and 30 points and three rebounds in a 74-55 win (2-9-23). Hit eight 3-pointers in each game. Tied her own single-game record with nine 3-pointers while scoring 29 points in a 78-62 win over Point Loma (12-30-33). Reached double figures in scoring 23 times and scored 20 or more points five times. An outstanding student, earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. Earned the CCAA’s Elite 13 Award for women’s basketball for academic achievement. Earned a 2022-23 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and also received 2022-23 CCAA Winter Honor Roll recognition. Was Cal State LA’s recipient of the 2022-23 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Award, an award presented by the CCAA for exemplary commitment to athletic and academic pursuits.

2021-22: Had a record-breaking season for the Golden Eagles in her second year on the court with the program. Set a new single-season record with 90 successful 3-pointers and broke her own single-game record with nine 3-pointers. Earned first-team All-CCAA honors. Led the team and was fourth in the CCAA in scoring with 15.1 points per game and led the team and conference in 3-pointers per game (3.4). Was second in the nation in 3-pointers per game and eighth in 3-pointers. Appeared in 26 games and started all 26. Led the team with 831 minutes played. Scored a career-high 34 points and set the new single-game record for 3-pointers with nine in a 76-60 win at Cal State Monterey Bay (12-11-21). Earned CCAA Player of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 6-12. Had 27 points and hit seven 3-pointers in a 61-60 win at Biola (11-23-21). Also had 27 points at Cal Poly Pomona (1-22-22). Reached double figures in scoring 20 times and scored 20 or more points six times. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2021-22 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2020-21: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors and also received 2020-21 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition. Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Was named the CCAA Freshman of the Year, becoming only the second Cal State LA women's basketball player to earn that award and the first since 2003-04. Received All-CCAA honorable mention. Started all 28 games for the Golden Eagles and led the team in minutes played with 939. Averaged 12.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. Was second on the team in scoring and in 3-point field goals made with 66. Tied the program record for successful 3-pointers in a game twice. Hit eight 3-pointers in nine attempts and scored 26 points in an 87-73 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Jan. 11. Had a season-high eight assists in that game as well. Also hit eight 3-pointers and scored a season-high 30 points at UC San Diego on Feb. 15. Scored 25 points in a 58-55 win at Sonoma State on Feb. 27. Had 21 points and a career-high 10 rebounds at Humboldt State on Nov. 23. Hit a game-winning basket at the buzzer in a 78-77 win at Simon Fraser (11-17-19). Reached double figures in scoring 16 times and scored 20 or more points six times. Was named Cal State LA’s Freshman of the Year. Received 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Westview High School: Earned first-team All-League honors and was an All-Academic Scholar all four years in high school. Averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game.

Personal: Daughter of Damon and Yukiko Flennaugh. Pursuing her Master’s degree in television, film and media studies. Enjoys photography, videography, playing the guitar, traveling, shoe shopping and watching TV. Lists having a 37-point game and beating the No. 1 team in state as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she graduated in three years and is now pursuing a Master’s degree at Cal State LA.
