2022: Was on Cal State LA’s cross country roster in the fall, but did not compete in any races. Was also on Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2023), but did not compete in any meets.

At Cerritos College: Participated in two years of cross country.

At Schurr High School: Took first place in the Almont League Frosh/Soph Cross Country Championships in 2015 and first place in the Almont League JV Cross Country Championships in 2016. Had best times of 2:00 in the 800 and 52 in the 400 in track and field.

Personal: Son of Pedro Sanchez and Francisca Lopez. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys running, literature and making music. Lists working together and growing as a team as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes that he loves pizza and tacos.
