Cal State LA Athletics

2022: Was on Cal State LA’s cross country roster in the fall, but did not compete in any races in his one year with the program. Competed well for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2023) in his final year with the program. Had a best mark of 11.21 in the 100 meters. Finished 13^th in the 100 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships while posting his season’s best time. Earned a 2022-23 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2023 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2021: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2022) and had a best time of 11.10 in the 100 meters.

2020: Was on Cal State LA’s track and field roster in the spring (2021, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Long Beach City College: Had best marks of 10.75 in the 100, 22.47 in the 200 and 50.34 in the 400. Also competed on the 4x100 relay team.

At Carson High School: Competed in track and field and football in high school. Earned a Most Valuable Player award in track.

Personal: Son of Dynesha Thompson. Majoring in business marketing. Enjoys music, movies and working out. Lists going to state with the men’s 4x100 relay team as his most exciting experience in sports.
