Biography

2022: Competed in five meets for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall in his final year with the program. Had a best 8,000-meter time of 31:43.5 at the Highlander Invitational. Finished 76th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 35:39.8 over 8,000 meters.

2021: Competed for the Golden Eagles’ cross country team in the fall and ran in two events. Had a best time of 32:52.1 over 8,000 meters while finishing 25th at the Coyote Challenge. Had another solid season for Cal State LA's track and field team (2022) in his final year with the program. Recorded best marks of 55.71 in the 400 meters, 2:13.27 in the 800 and 20-6.50 in the long jump. For his career, had best marks of 22.53 in the 200, 55.71 in the 400, 54.71 in the 400 hurdles, 6-2 in the high jump and 22-9.25 in the long jump.

2020: Was on the cross country and track and field (2021) rosters, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019:  Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and ran in three events. Had a best 8,000-meter time of 33:04.31 while finishing 127th at the Coyote Challenge on Sept. 21. Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the shortened season (2020). Had a best mark of 6-2 in the high jump.

2018: Did not compete in cross country for the Golden Eagles, but had a strong first season with the Golden Eagles in track and field (2019). Placed 10th in the 400 hurdles at the CCAA Championships. Had best marks of 54.71 in the 400 hurdles, 22.53 in the 200 and 22-9.25 in the long jump.

At Millikan High School: Was sixth in the California State Championships in the 300 hurdles. Had best times of 38.0 in the 300 hurdles and 14.93 in the 110 high hurdles. Competed in track and field and cross country. Was Millikan’s Most Outstanding Athlete.

Personal: Son of Larry Williams and Laurie Ramey. Majoring in marketing. Enjoys working out, going to parties and tumbling. Lists going to the CIF state finals as his most exciting experience in sports.
