Biography

2021: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Ran in six of the team’s seven meets. Had a best time of 26:53.8 over 8,000 meters at the UC Riverside Invitational. Finished 71st in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 27:45.3 over 8,000 meters. Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2022). Had best times of 1:58.23 in the 800 meters and 4:11.05 in the 1,500.

At Mayfair High School: Competed in cross country, track and field and basketball.

Personal: Son of Jesus and Alicia Diaz. Majoring in electrical engineering. Enjoys running, basketball, football and spending time with friends and family.
